Oppression: to be burdened, lied heavily on, depressed, saddened,
hopeless.
“Behold, I give you the authority to
trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the
enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Luke 10:19
Plain and simple, they are not dead people. We don't "stick around" after we die:
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the
judgement."
Hebrews 9:27
"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from
me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his
angels."
Matthew 25:41
"I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.
"Luke 23:43
(Jesus on the cross telling the repentant thief next to
him).
"In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would
have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I
go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be
with me that you also may be where I am."
John 14:2-3
"Ghosts" are demons.
"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought
against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels prevailed
not. Neither was their place found anymore in Heaven. And the great
dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan
which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth,
and his angels were cast out with him... Woe to the inhabiters of
the earth and the seal for the devil is come down unto you, having
great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."
Revelation 12:7-12
In 2009, something happened in my personal life that drew me
closer to Jesus. Since then I have prayed a certain daily prayer
with sincerity.
Here is part of the prayer, "God, make me the man
you want me to be."
In the summer of 2009, I went to Senath, Missouri to a funeral
because my grandma who lived there had just passed away. For the
first time in my life I experienced something that was confirmed by
my mom later that night (she said she felt the demon too). But, it
wasn't the experience of having one of these things in close
proximity of where I was; the fact that I knew when one of these
things was around me was the new experience.
The three of us were
inside my grandma's room at a senior retirement center getting her
personal belongings. Everything was normal at first until suddenly I
had a strong, dreaded, depressed feeling, and my (physical) strength
was being drained from me. I have felt this feeling before
(countless times), but God spoke to my heart telling me this is what
it's like when a demon is around me.
God has shown me a lot of things since Senath. Before, the thought of a demon around me would frighten me (like it does anyone else). But, they don't anymore. Case in point: I used to watch TV shows like Ghost Hunters, but not much anymore; they are pretty boring.
Unfortunately, more than people know (or, want to know).
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God
for pulling down strongholds, casting down imagination and every
high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
2
Cor. 10:3-5
This means that all the evil things we see in this world that people do (or have done), there are reasons behind it. Many people are pawns to demonic influence. If a person murders another, yes, there was probably a demon next to him or her when they did it. But, this war lasts a life time; did the murderer have a bad childhood?
Yes. Absolutely!
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents
and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall
by any means hurt you."
Luke 10:19
"But in that coming day, no weapon turned against
you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse
you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord. Their
vindication is from me.
I, the Lord, have spoken."
Isaiah 54:17
They usually don't throw lamps across the room or push picture frames off the table; they don't like to publicize the fact that they're in your presence. A huge reason for this is, when someone who has surrendered his or her life to Jesus, they are immediately granted authority over every demon that exists.
Do they like to scare people? Yes. But, they don't need to say or do anything to make you feel miserable; their presence alone have an effect on us. The key here is magnification. What ever you're going through, you will feel worse about it if one of them is next to you.
Her are some examples of what I'm talking about:
If you're depressed about having no money for bills, rent, medical bills, a demon can intensify that depression by just being next to you.
If you're upset with a family that has said or done something that has hurt you, a demon can intensify your anger and hurt by just being next to you.
If you've spent day after day signing applications to get a job
but to no avail, a demon can make you feel more negative and upset
about it by just being next to you
(I note this example because of
how the economy has been for several years now).
You're suicidal. But there are times the temptation is exceptionally strong.
You had a great day at work. But on the drive home, the joy is
gone for no reason
(I hate this especially).
You had an argument with your spouse and you haven't' given it much thought. But suddenly, you have a considerable amount of anger for him or her.
You had a fight with your boss or teacher and you were mad after it happened. But, you're mad about again and it's a day later.
Yesterday, you were happy because your life is going pretty good.
But today, you think about your life and you abhor it.
FYI: we've all had to deal with this. But when you realize that it's
something spiritual, you'll have the victory.
We need to remember that they (demons) don't have to say anything to
change how we are feeling.
Due to the fact that they are cursed by
God so much (God even made a fiery pit for them to burn in for
eternity), their presence alone have an effect on how we feel.
Yes.
They each give off different emotions.
Here are a few examples:
An oppressed feeling
(very common)
A scared feeling
Depression
Loneliness
Hateful
A feeling like someone is watching you
Anger
Sexual
(strong urges, deviant sexual thoughts).
Very doubtful.
Chances are though he knows every leader of every
country. I personally believe he's in the presence of
tyrannical leader of murderous regime in some other country.
Was he
in the presence of Adolf Hitler? Karl Marx? Chances are.
Nightmares
Last year one night I was lying on my couch sleeping and had a
nightmare. It was the first time a nightmare had me wake up
so scared. The moment I woke up (my eyes opened up at the
same time), I knew a demon was leaving my apartment and that it was
right in front of me during the nightmare
(I was on the couch facing the
side).
I am positive that God,
purposely, let me experience this.
We have nightmares throughout our lives
but this was the first time I had woken up from the nightmare
knowing what had specifically caused it.
A demon in my friend's apartment
11/14/11
A couple of weeks ago I went to a friend's apartment to show her the footage of Apparition that we've filmed so far. Immediately when I walked in to her apartment I noticed a change in feeling, I felt a strong feeling of oppression. After being there for a few minutes I asked her how she was feeling. Although she said she was feeling fine, she believed me when I told her a demon was in her apartment. Both of us rebuked and bound the demon in Jesus' name and kicked it out several times. It worked every time but it kept coming back. Apparently, the demon had taken up residency in her apartment for quite some time and refused to leave.
Because it kept coming back, I decided to
give it a Bible study. Instead of kicking the demon out again, I turned off all the lights (showing the
demon that we didn't fear it), and demanded it to stay in her
apartment. Her and I then pulled out two bibles and walked around
her apartment reading it out loud. After about 15 minutes, we kicked
the demon out again warning it what would happen if it came
back. Needless to say, it never did.
When we
were reading the scriptures I saw a black shadow race across the
wall above me, my friend saw it do the same thing in another part of
her apartment. We were torturing the demon. When we were reading the
scriptures the feeling of oppression and fear came on us really
strong. I'm not scared of the dark personally, but I
was during that 15 minutes.
But, we won!
(it was fun torturing it too!)
If you have to rid a demon that is inside your
home, here are some of the things you can say when you're kicking
it, or them, out. These are from personal experiences and have
worked.
They may seem simple but remember that these things know
the war against them has already been won. I would even say they have more fear
daily (of Hell), then you
have of them when you know they're in your presence.
Please remember: if
their future is the same as yours, you have no authority over them.
When you give your life over to Jesus and believe that he went
through that pain on the cross for you, he grants you all the
authority you need to make these things go away from you.
Here they are and they all have to do with torturing it:
Remind him where he will spend eternity: Hell
Thank God out loud that you are covered by HIS grace and the demon is not.
Remind him the war has already been won.
Tell him he has no authority in your home.
Remind him that all of the pain he causes mankind will be put back on his head infinity fold (in Hell).
Do what we did:
Bind the demon and then give it a bible lesson.
Read the book of
Psalms where it talks about joy.
Scriptures
that quote what Jesus said about his love for you.
Or, scriptures that talk about Hell.
Pray out loud:
"Thank you Jesus for
dying on the cross for me."
"Thank you for Jesus for loving me even when I'm not perfect."
These prayers are important because it reminds the demon that the
cross defeated him
and that you are covered by HIS grace and he is not.
It's very important that you don't have a conversation with the demon though because the bible scripture (below) instructs us not to do that.
It is not uncommon to feel cold spots if a
demon is in your presence.
As a matter of fact, if you are already
wondering if there's a demon in your presence because of the
evidence, a cold spot
will confirm that fact.
Before God started revealing to me the depths of this spiritual war we are in, I used to wonder when I'd watch a
ghost reality show how terrible it would be if I were to spend the
night (especially by myself), at one of those places on the show. For
example: an abandoned insane asylum. I can comfortably say doing
such a thing would not scare me anymore. I've come to think as these
things as just being "pests."
So should you!
Last summer (2011), I took a summer job here in Omaha for a couple of months; it was the worst job I've ever had. But, it wasn't because of the work I was doing (transportation industry), it was because of the demonic activity that was (and probably still is) occurring at that place.
All of us drivers would sit in the back of the plant up to 3 hours
and wait to get called to have our trucks loaded with product.
During this time waiting I had several experiences with demons that
apparently live and thrive at that place: I'd see something on the
rear view mirror and stick my head out the door and nobody would be
back there. I'd sit in my truck feeling good one minute until I'd
suddenly feel negative for no reason. I'd often feel like something
was watching me.
One time I was outside of the truck and a
rock hit me in the arm; I looked around and nobody was there.
Personally, I've never seen it so bad; drivers at that company with
the exception of about 2 (out of 65), were full of hate and anger
for one another. One time, after a driver got into an argument with
another driver (very frequent there), I followed one of the drivers
back to his truck and he explained to me that the second driver had
an attitude towards him for no reason. I didn't say anything but I
wanted to ask him, "How does it feel to eat your dinner on this bed
that you've made?"
The drivers there didn't do anything that would make the
demons want to stay away. While they would wait to get their trucks
loaded their conversations between each other was about deviant
sex, they'd spread rumors about each other, and so on. Furthermore, they blasphemed
God's name in every sentence possible it seemed.
Demons are having a heyday there because, well, they're
being invited.
When I got inside my Jeep Liberty for work (for the same job), I
felt something behind me watching me. I arrived in the parking lot
of my work 30 minutes later and bound the demon to my Jeep (I also
have a audio recording of the demon saying "Hello." When I arrived
at work I turned on my phone's voice recorder to test myself making
sure I wasn't imagining anything).
Ten hours later after work I got
back in my Jeep and felt something behind me watching me again.
Realizing the demon was still there was good news, binding the demon
worked, just like what Jesus did to them from what the
book of Matthew tells us: “He said to them, ‘Go!’ So they came out
and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep
bank into the lake and died in the water.”
Matthew 8:32
On the way home, I got my camera that I keep in my Jeep for filming and took pictures of the area in my Jeep. The picture below is one them.
Tell it where it's going.
I used to live on the outskirts of the city in the country; ever since I moved into the city limits where all the population is there has been much more spiritual activity. Unfortunately, that makes a lot sense: they're out seeking whom they can destroy.
Due to this fact, I've had to kick them out of my home much more
than I've had to in the past. But sometimes it took more than just
rebuking him and commanding him to leave because it would be back
several days later (I've learned what God's word says about
this being a battle is absolutely true).
In these (few) cases, I
won the battle because I reminded the demon where his future lies:
Hell.
They have a real fear of going there (and rightfully so).
Why is it that the most vile among us, Lucifer and his demons, fear such a place? Could it be because Hell is a place of torment like God says it is?
There have been estimates in the science community that the
center of earth is 11,000° fahrenheit.
Demons do not want to go to Hell and will scatter when you tell them
they will inevitably end up there. This SHOULD scare every unsaved
person on this planet because it reminds us how awful Hell really
is. It's no wonder that Jesus sends unrepentent people to Hell
(daily) who do not believe in HIM. Not only because that person
didn't believe that Jesus went through all that pain on the cross
for him or her, but because, unlike the devil and his demons who
have no choice on going there, that person DID have a choice but
chose to ignore the warning.
I've pondered this question for a while now. I'm going to
continue to pray for an answer but I do have a personal opinion on
it.
In places like abandoned insane asylums (investigated by
Ghosthunters for example) where (evil) "experiments" were done on
the patients, there seems to be a lot of "paranormal" activity.
Could the reason for that be because God has bound those demons (the
perpetrators) to that building for punishment?
Note:
About Ghosthunters and Ghost Adventures, I don't know if it's dawned
on the "investigators" that demons might be following them around
making it look many of those places are haunted when they are not.
I was flipping through the TV channels the other night and came across the show Ghost Adventurers. The guy on there was standing at a doorway in an abandoned building; he said he felt a spirit go through him. The fact that it went through him should raise some flags (for him); nothing is prohibiting the demon from going through him. What is stopping the demon from staying in him?
The Ghost Adventurers people (and others who
purposely seek out demonic spirits), are inviting themselves into a
world that we are told to stay away from:
"I do not want you to be participants with
demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons
too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table
of demons. Are we trying to arouse the Lord's jealousy? Are we
stronger than he?"
1 Cor 10:20-22
Below is a video of a true exorcism by Bob Larson.
Possession has been going on for a long time:
"In the synagogue there was a man possessed by
a demon, an evil demon. He cried out at the top of his voice...'Be
quiet!' Jesus said sternly. 'Come out of him!' Then the demon threw
the man down before them all and came out without injuring him."
Luke 4:33,35
What you need to take from viewing this video
is this: Bob Larson, just like the rest of us, is not perfect, "All
have fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23.
And yet he has authority over them.
You, as a Christian, have authority
too.
