Thanks so much for writing James. I pray this finds you all well. How is your
mom doing? I believe the Lord for her perfect healing. I look forward to hearing
about her being healed. I believe Maddy would make a perfect novel. I wish that
I can say I was a writer, but am not without a blessing in that area from the
Lord. Actually the movie Maddy was more to me than about even the homeless. It
reminds us of how lacking we are in true love and passion for each other and the
Body of Christ. The true and honest love and fellowship with one another. The
masks we put on to appear spiritual. The things we do to ease our guilt. I was
thankful for the Maddy movie. The open, honest love and help for each other. No
religious trappings.
Be blessed mightly in the Lord and please give my love and thanks to your Mom
and Dad.

Hello, may God bless you for the Maddy movie. i've received it and it was so

I loved this movie! It really touched me and meant a lot to me. I feel I
connected with Maddie within the first few minutes. The main reason i loved this
movie so much was because it actually had a meaningful meaning to it. Something
everyone can learn and connect to. Its not like any other movie where you see
the same movie characters or it reminds you of the movie you saw last week. No.
This is more then that. Its a story with real people showing you what its like
to really live life.It teaches you the best way to better your life and shows
you the right path to go on even if it seems there isn't another way out. It
opened my eyes to a whole new place of peace and happiness. So watch this movie
and learn from it, feel it, relate to it, live it, love it, and enjoy it!

I had the opportunity to show the movie, "Maddy," to my church youth group and
really had a good, positive response from the youth. We had a good discussion
following the movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone who desires an
excellent testimony in a setting that many of you would be out of their comfort
zone.

Maddy is an interesting Christian film about the life of Maddy, a middle aged
woman very much down on her luck. Maddy has not fallen into despair, but instead
thinks of those around her in a caring way. Maddy catches the spirit of people
that society at large rejects. We have a few 'down on their luck' people at our
Church, they can be a wonderful asset to a community if given the chance because
they have learned to care. The film Maddy is obviously a labor of love. It
doesn't have the excitement of some films, or the engagement of others, but it
is very much worth watching and considering the Maddy's of this world.
In Christ, Larry
Guys, thank you very much for Maddy. This is a film with heart, and people
inside and outside the walls need to listen to the message, and understand that
we need to take action instead of just be spectators. I love you guys, and
thanks. Carlos I seen part of Maddy from Dan's website. You truly have a gift.

Hi Devon, I fixed my DVD player last night. Cold solder joint. Tried a cd first
to make sure it worked then put in your movie. WOW what can I say? It was
wonderful and well done. Must have taken two years to do. I can't imagine all
the planning and work that you guys put into it. You should be very proud. I
have not been able to play a DVD for almost two years. All is well here. Say hi
to the bag lady for me and tell James to lighten up or he's going to get in
trouble. Goodbye for now.

Just watched the movie Maddy, which i really enjoyed. Laurel Thanks for sending
the Maddy Video and music. My wife and I watched it this evening. She cried
twice during the movie. What video editing software did you use? Also what music
software did you use? We've done a few videos and hope to do more teaching the
love of Christ for all people. Peace.

Devon got the DVD Saturday. It was a true blessing and made me anxious to see
what Yeshua will have you do next. Maybe a modern day Elijah or John the
Baptist? I will make this short tonight but I want to watch it again. Was still
a little tired from the mess with the tornadoes and being without power for a
few days. I had to work also. Is Kathryn your wife and are you the one playing
the guitar and singing on the street? It may have been my TV screen, but the
credits were to the far left and couldn't really make it out. But everyone one
did a good job and with what you had to work with it was a lot better than I
expected, because that is not a simple task. But I was really focusing on the
message more than anything. I am thankful for you getting it to me and even
taking the time to email. I really love your spirit. A little southern accent
there. When I write that I always think these people are wondering what in the
world are you saying. I want make this a novel Devon but you have been blessed
by the Lord and these times are critical. Some may not listen to a sermon or
read but most will watch a movie. Thanks for your friendship and tell Maddy it
was great.

Thank you so much for sharing how some of our things have touched your life and
encouraged your own journey. We are so blessed at what God is doing today to
draw people deeper into his life. Wayne does not have the time these days to
read and review all articles, books, CD and DVD that are sent to him. As time
allows Wayne will occasionally glance at some of the many things that are sent
to him. If you mail us a copy, I will pass it onto Wayne. However I cannot say
when he would be able to glance it. May he continue to lead you with grace and
love. God Bless.

"Maddy" should be a 'must see' for both teenagers and adults. The film is well
done and draws you in and, as you watch it, you feel the pain, fear and
frustration the Homeless must feel....but you also feel the joy, elation and
love they have for each other. Redemption is real! Thank you for the experience.

Maddy is a touching movie showing the strength of the human spirit when
empowered with faith in God. BB Got Maddy today and we watched it this
afternoon. It was uplifting and motivating If we lived closer we would ask to be
part of your next production Keep the film rolling.

Dear Mr. Leesley. Thanks for sending a copy of the movie 'Maddy'. I enjoyed
watching it. The plight of the homeless is a very sad and serious problem in our
society. As christians we need to reach out and respond. Your movie will help
people realize the need. As the movie points out, some people end up on the
street through no fault of their own. It is a very fine line that seperates us
from them. We are the fortunate ones, but a change of health, employment, etc.,
could add us to their numbers. I help with the food pantry in our church. We
feed the 'Maddys' of Omaha each week, usually over a thousand guests a month. I
help because I can. God has blessed me and I'm thankful for that. God bless your
efforts.
Don
Dear Mr. Leesley: Thank you for taking the time to contact me. As always, it is
good to hear from you. Please accept my apology for the delay in this response.
I appreciate receiving your materials and hearing your concerns on the important
issue regarding homelessness. It is good to know that you are working to make
others more aware of this issue. The movie you wrote and produced, Maddy, which
was filmed in Omaha, Nebraska, has the potential to make people more aware of
issues surrounding homelessness. It is clear you spent a great deal of effort to
bring this problem to the forefront by preparing this film for viewing. Again,
thank you for contacting me. I appreciate hearing your views and urge you to
keep in touch.
Sincerely, Chuck Charles E. Grassley United States Senator
